​Cleaning Your Hat

  • Light Dusting: Use a soft-bristled brush or lint roller to remove dust, lint, or pet hair. Brush gently in circular motions.

  • Spot Cleaning: Dampen a clean, white cloth to gently dab stains (do not rub). Let it air dry naturally.

  • Felt Hats: Use a felt cleaning sponge for small spots. For more severe stains, seek professional cleaning.

  • Wool Hats: If wet, let it dry naturally away from heat or direct sunlight.

  • Spring/Summer Hats: Keep dry. If wet, reshape gently and air dry.

Storing Your Hat

  • Store Properly: Keep hats in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture.

  • Use a Hat Box: A sturdy box protects your hat from dust and helps maintain its shape.

  • Shape Retention: Stuff with tissue paper or use a hat form to preserve the shape. Never crush or fold your hat, as it will damage the shape.

  • Hang Correctly: Use padded hooks or nails with soft coverings to avoid damage.

  • Clean Before Storing: Dust or clean your hat before storing to prevent mildew or damage.

  • Protect from Dust: Use breathable covers to shield from dust and pet hair. Avoid plastic for straw hats.

  • Avoid Overcrowding: Ensure there’s enough space for airflow to maintain the hat’s shape.
